About Claire
Claire Boston discovered her passion for romance and suspense when she discovered her mother’s stash of Nora Roberts novels at the age of eleven. Born in Western Australia, Claire has always believed every love story deserves a happily-ever-after—especially when the journey is rugged, dangerous, and set under the vast Australian sky.
Claire’s romantic suspense novels often find her characters caught between danger and desire: resilient heroes and heroines who must battle both external threats and their innermost fears. Whether it’s a small coastal town shaken by crime, secrets buried in the outback, or a past that refuses to stay silent, Claire creates worlds where love is worth the risk.
She fuels her imagination through her desire to learn: new cultures, interesting vocations, and remote landscapes all become threads in her stories. When she’s not writing, Claire can be found travelling with her husband, dabbling in crafts, or curled up on the couch immersed in a book.
Claire's novels have been nominated for the Romantic Book of the Year award, and the Vivian Award. Through all her stories—whether set in the Australian bush or halfway around the world—Claire celebrates communities, found families and love’s power to heal.
